To begin, a Colombian native, Dr. Diana Zorro graduated from dental school in her home country in 1998. Later, after moving to North Carolina, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of NC in 2007. Moreover, today, as a leading dentist in Carlsbad, her passion is providing superior care in safe, bio-compatible environments—based on her strong belief that oral health is directly connected to whole-body wellness—motivated her to create Smiles for Health.
Additionally, Dr. Zorro is also a licensed Nutritionist and a firm believer in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. For this reason, she designed a practice that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit with a wellness-centered approach. Furthermore, she is extensively trained in esthetic dentistry and biomaterials, with advanced expertise in prosthodontics, including full mouth rehabilitations and computer-guided surgical implant placement. Additionally outside the office, she enjoys art, producing music in her home studio, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
