Dr. Andrea Otani Barrera
She earned her bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego, graduating with a double major in Biology and Public Health, along with a minor in Sociocultural Anthropology. Dr. Barrera received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She is an active member in the Academy of General Dentists, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and San Diego County Dental Society.
Dr. Barrera has a deep passion for dentistry and helping her community. She empowers her patients to take control of their oral health as a foundation for improving their overall well-being. Outside of dentistry, she likes spending time with her husband and dog enjoying the San Diego sunshine, playing soccer, and traveling.
